The infected insect dies within 3–7 days, and the fungus sporulates on the dead insect’s body, releasing new spores that can infect other insects in the vicinity — creating a natural epidemic within the pest population.

How to Use

• Foliar Spray: Mix 10 ml per litre of water and spray thoroughly on all plant surfaces, especially the undersides of leaves where pests hide. Apply during early morning or evening to protect spores from UV degradation.
• Soil Drench: Mix 5 ml per litre of water and drench the soil around the root zone to control soil-dwelling pests like white grubs and termites.
• Seed Treatment: Mix 10 ml per kg of seeds and coat evenly before sowing to protect against soil pests during germination.
• Repeat application every 7–10 days or as needed based on pest pressure. Apply in the evening for best results as UV light can degrade fungal spores.
• Important: Do not mix with chemical fungicides as they will kill the beneficial fungal spores. Maintain a gap of at least 3–5 days between fungicide and Besivert applications.
